Specialty Critical Care Transport

First Responder EMS-Sacramento is a team of highly qualified registered nurses staffed with paramedics and emergency medical technicians. The SCCT program offers inter-facility and intra-facility transports for Neo-Natal, Pediatric and adult critically ill and injured patients. Our program utilizes state-of-the-art life saving equipment.

Paramedic Ambulance

All of our paramedics are licensed with the state of California and are accredited with the local governmental emergency medical service agency. Our paramedic ambulances are equipped with advanced life support equipment and have direct medical over site with an on-line medical physician.

Basic Life Support Ambulance

All of our emergency medical technicians are certified with the local governmental emergency medical service agency. First Responder EMS-Sacramento, Inc. also provides additional enhanced internal training curriculum for the EMT's. The Basic Life Support ambulances are utilized for non-emergency transportation services. We offer local and long distance transportation services.

Gurney-Van Service

First Responder offers a unique level of service for those individuals that require transportation by gurney. Patients that do not meet the medical necessity requirements of health care insurance can now utilize a lower level of service that will meet the patient's comfort. We offer local and long distance transportation services.

Wheel-Chair-Van Service

All of our personnel working on the wheel-chair vans are trained at the level of EMT or at a minimum First Aid and are also certified in C.P.R. The wheel-chair vans meet the American with Disability Act regulations. The service can be utilized for doctor appointments, dialysis appointments, and all other wheel-chair bound transports.

Dementia Management

All of our medical personnel are trained to the expert level as Certified Memory Impairment Specialist. We are the only ambulance provider in the nation trained to this level. What this means is that when a patient is experiencing a sudden onset of a medical problem associated with dementia our medical personnel can manage both patient care and dementia.
